Prom and AfterProm Information

Busses arrive at Longwood at 5:45 pmAll buses will depart from Longwood at 6:15 pm. If you are not on the bus it will not wait for you and you will have to find alternative transportation to the Odyssey (boat).
Your bus ticket is round trip. You MUST ride the bus both to and from Prom. It is a round trip ticket. You CANNOT have someone else pick you up after the Prom and drive home with them. This is for your safety.
Parents: Please follow all traffic directions when dropping off your student at Longwood. We are boarding 5 motor coaches. Let’s work together to minimize the chaos.
Please arrange car pools to help limit the number of vehicles.
We strongly suggest that pictures are taken before you arrive at Longwood to catch the buses.
Don’t forget to bring a picture ID to prom, you will need to present them both when you board the boat. Also, please remember that tickets are non-transferrable. If you need After-Prom tickets see Mrs. Peterson in G243.
She will be available during lunch only.
Students can arrive at Longwood to Check Bags as early at 1 pm:
= Bags – one bag (backpack, small suitcase, plastic bag) per student; no more than 1 bag and nothing in the bag but clothing. All bags will be checked by human and/or sniffed by dog.
= A bag tag will be put on the bag. Students should download the bag tag and have it filled out before coming to Longwood. Bags can be checked in Longwoodstarting at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. Do NOT put valuables in your bags, we are not responsible for anything that is lost or stolen.
Bus Boarding:
= Once students get to the bus they need to check in with the chaperone. Each chaperone has a list of the names of the students on that bus and will check tickets too.
= No bags on the bus only small purses/evening bags. Purses/evening bags will be checked before each bus is boarded.
Returning to Longwood after Prom:
= On the return trip students MUST ride on the same bus they came on. Example: If you are on the orange bus to prom you are on the orange bus from prom;
