Parent Volunteers Needed for Student Survey
Sherwood High School is looking for parents who are willing to volunteer their time during the school day to interview students. The purpose of these interviews is gather information regarding student strengths and needs and what they are looking for in their school environment to best promote academic excellence with meaningful student involvement and engagement.
Each interview should take about 10 minutes and we will be interviewing about 200 students. The school would like to conduct these interviews within the next few weeks. Parents can come in for a few hours, a half day or a full day depending on your schedule. You can also be scheduled for different days if you are able to come in more than once. The school hours are from 7:25 AM to 2:10 PM.
If you are able to volunteer, please contact me at stpierre619@comcast.net or 301-774-3613. I will need your name, email address, phone number and day(s) and times you are able to conduct interviews. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the school and get to know our students.
