August 9 Construction Update
As of this time, the site had been cleared for the greenhouse and the two-story addition. A chain link fence has gone up around the construction site. The PE Department expressed some concerns relating to a trailer that is situated closely to the 3rd base line of the softball field. Another concern was how to get a hose out to that field for water for the JV Football team that practices there. Also, a new fire plan and egress were to be created to reflect the now existent construction site and the possibility of closing doors that lead directly out onto the site. There was also discussion on the safest way construction trucks could enter the school parking lot.
In the next two weeks, they plan on working on utilities, greenhouse footing, bulk excavation and stakeout for addition.
